Salary: £70-75K + 15% pension + 10-15% bonus + healthcare + life assurance + 25 days holiday (pro rata)
The Client
Our client is an International Plc based in Central London who require a Cyber Security Project Manager to manage a portfolio of cyber security projects. Based in their prestigious HQ this exciting opportunity requires candidates from a Plc/Blue-chip background.
The Role as Security Project Manager
The client is seeking to be responsible for project managing a portfolio of cyber security projects which are planned for coming year. This will include Data Loss Prevention, Identity Access Management, Penetration Testing and Privileged Access Management in alignment with the client’s info sec policies.
Duties include;
- - Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- - Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
- - Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- - Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- - Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary, managing budget through project lifecycle
- - Determine and assess need for additional project staff and/or during project cycle.
- - Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- - Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- - Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- - Transition projects into business as usual & complete full project closure processes
The Security Project Manager Candidate
The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must have PM Gravitas and be able to demonstrate the following:
- - Relevant experience as a Cyber Security Project Manager within a plc/blue-chip environment – 5+ years
- - Demonstrable experience of successful delivery of Information Security & Infrastructure technology projects –Data Loss Prevention, Identity Access Management, Penetration Testing, CMBD, Privileged Access Management
- - Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Service Now
- - Experience in running RFI / RFP’s
- - Business Analysis exposure and/or previous experience as a BA
- - Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- - Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
- - Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- - Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- - Excellent Budget Management skills
