Rate: £60-65K + 10-15% Bonus + 15% Pension + Medical & Life Assurance Insurance + 25 days Holiday
The Client
Our client is an award winning & thriving International Retail Plc based in Central London who require a dynamic PMO Lead to work in a new finance P2P project team supporting the implementation of an new ERP system. Based in their prestigious HQ this exciting opportunity requires candidates from a Plc/Blue-chip background.
The Role as PMO Lead
Duties include;
- Schedule regular meetings and record decisions
- Assisting the Implementing governance standards across the project
- Coordinating project meetings, taking and distributing comprehensive minutes and follow up actions
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Engagement Lead in managing project status reporting, including relevant scorecards (e.g. Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) register, budget variance analysis, scope, resource and milestone change logs)
- Anticipating risks and opportunities, proactively engaging team and driving positive outcomes
- Tracking stakeholder engagement and updating business communication strategy
- Maintaining action, decision and meeting trackers ensuring they are up to date and accurate
- Promoting best practice project management for an Agile stand point
- Monitored and tracked project change requests incorporating initial documentation, analysis, approval and sign off
- Maintaining Process maps, in Visio
- Managing the change control process
- Analysed the project plan and tracked milestone progress through regular 1-2-1 engagement with the Project Manager
The Project Administrator Candidate
The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must have gravitas and be able to demonstrate the following:
- 5+ years Project PMO Lead within a Plc/blue-chip environment (Retail experience would be an advantage)
- Proactive & delivery focused
- Hands-on exposure to agile way of working
- A self-starter with good creative skills
- Problem-solving skills with experience contributing to a major change project
- Motivated team player who also works well independently
- Works with a strong sense of personal integrity and meets deadlines under pressure
- Skilled communicator demonstrating refined stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Highly organised, methodical and structured thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Build close and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Programme Steering Committee, Finance, HR and Technology teams, BA community and third-party suppliers)
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Scrum)
- Proficient user of collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, SharePoint, Teams)
