The Client
Our client is an award winning & thriving International Plc based in Central London who require a dynamic Security Architect to manage a portfolio of security works projects. Based in their prestigious HQ this exciting opportunity requires candidates from a Plc/Blue-chip background
The Role as Senior Security Architect
Duties include;
- Establishing strategic security architecture using industry standard methodologies and frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA)
- Develop a security architecture roadmap for delivering new capabilities in a hybrid IT environment (cloud based, on premise)
- Liaising with PMO and PMs to ensure that security principals and architectural requirements are built in by design, across the projects portfolio
- Implement industry standard architectural security processes and controls for current infrastructure, platforms and application development (ISF, NIST, ISO, SANS)
- Review existing and proposed architectures, identify security design gaps, and changes or enhancements - Deep technical understanding of Network Security (protocols) and Cryptography
- Experience of transforming existing IT processes, to align with security industry best practice (CISSP, CISM)
- Supply-chain security - assess third-party security posture, with working experience of performing security auditing and testing (CISA)
- Participate in solution architecture design; lead security efforts assisting with the integration and initial implementation of solutions
- Collaborate with IT Operations, Enterprise Apps, DevOps and Developer teams to create and implement an application security program
- Work with software developers to identify architectural security weakness and provide guidance on secure coding and industry best practice (OWASP, CERT)
The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must have gravitas and be able to demonstrate the following:
5+ years Security Architecture within a large Plc/blue-chip environment
Experience of implementation of Security standards for development
Experience of Implementation of Cloud Based Security monitoring tools
Manage project change ensuring the deliverables still align to the objectives.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead by example and communicate in an inspiring and motivational manner.
Experience of managing third party suppliers and ensuring they are a part of the project journey and deliverables.
Experience of BCP/DR planning
Working experience of implementing:
· Cloud Security
· Identity and Access Management solutions
· Security Incident & Event Monitoring (SIEM), SOC
· ISO27001, PCI DSS, COBIT
· DPA/GDPR
