Start date: asap – 4 weeks

Salary: £55-65k + 9% pension & benefits (medical & life assurance)
The Client
My client an major media organization based in the city are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with a finance focus. Based in their modern central office this role would be working for one of the most recognizable brands in the UK.
Reporting to the HOF responsibilities will include:
- Changing how finance build reporting and building the models for said budgeting
- Understanding and knowledge of finance department operations
- Scope current processes and get into the detail to provide modern, efficient solutions
- Business partnering at all levels within Finance, Technology and other key stakeholders
- Modernize reporting and commercial analytics capabilities
- Become the face of Finance for all Reporting, BI and Analytics
The ideal candidate will be:
- Commercially astute with a high level of finance and analytical skills
- Great at developing and building stakeholder relationships
- Advanced skills in Excel and SQL, VBA and other Programming languages
- Experience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx or Qlikview
- Ability to get both the big picture and the detail
- Experienced with system integration, improvement and modernization
- Experienced in interpreting, structuring and optimizing large data sets (both financial and non-financial)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Great at interaction at all levels, internally and externally
