Our client is an award winning & thriving International FTSE 100 company based in Central London who are undergoing a digital transformation project and require a Project Manager with application experience (CRM, ERP, Finance, HR). Based in their prestigious/modern HQ this exciting opportunity requires candidates from a Plc/blue chip background who can drive/lead and make a positive contribution to the digital transformation programme.
The Role as Project Manager – Applications
Our client requires a strong IT Project Manager to be responsible for the multiple project streams relating to business systems (Salesforce, Finance, HR & Business Applications) and their integration to the wider digital transformation programme.
The main delivery duties will be:
- Manage a full life cycle of multiple integration projects - Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Integration, Finance & Bespoke Business Applications
- Definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and reviewing and improving processes where necessary
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for several initiatives simultaneously
- Meeting with stakeholders to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project - Manage project scope and changes
- Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues - building rapport and credibility
- Identifying suitable communication strategies for all levels of stakeholders
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Managing the day-to-day project activities, resources and chairs the Steering committee meetings
The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must have gravitas and be able to demonstrate the following:
- 5-10 years commercial IT Project Management experience
- Salesforce or similar CRM system
- ERP/ Finance/ HR systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Agresso or other similar systems)
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Strong experience in IT project management
- Leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Ability to prepare and present documentation to non IT business people
- Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executives sponsors, team members, stakeholders and peers
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Research best practices within and outside the organisation to establish benchmark data and use continuous process improvement disciplines to achieve results
- Track record of successful IT project management and delivery
