The Client
Our client is an award winning & thriving International FTSE 100 company based in Central London who are undergoing a major finance transformation programme and require a Project Manager with extensive Finance ERP experience. Based in their prestigious/modern HQ this exciting opportunity requires candidates from a Plc/blue-chip background who can drive/lead and make a positive contribution to the finance transformation programme.
The Role as Finance ERP Project Manager:
- Championing an agile way of working with project team and SMEs, and best practice project management
- Ensuring programme governance standards are maintained across the project, including SteerCo and DeliveryCo reporting
- Leading project meetings, ensuring stakeholders receive appropriate actions
- Management of up to four direct reports and the input of a similar number of SMEs
- Anticipating risks and opportunities, proactively engaging team and driving positive outcomes
- Ensuring stakeholder engagement and progressing business communication strategy
- Ensuring completeness and validity of programme documentation
- Maintaining effective relationships and communication with Programme Management and Assurance
Requirements of the Finance Project Manager:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience working as a Project Manager in a finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of Finance ERP Systems (Oracle, Dynamics/D365, SAP, Infor, MRI etc)
- Waterfall & Agile Experience (agile desired but not essential)
- CIMA, ACCA or FCCA qualified
- Hands-on exposure to agile way of working including team backlogs, daily stand-ups and retrospectives
- Track record delivering successful business system implementation projects within a complex environment, (P2P implementation preferred)
- Motivated team player, used to managing teams, who also works well independently
- Works with a strong sense of personal integrity and meets deadlines under pressure
- Skilled communicator demonstrating refined stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Build close and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Programme Steering Committee, Finance, HR and Technology Leadership Teams, BA community and third-party suppliers)
- Experienced user of collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Teams)
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Scrum)
