Role type: 12 months FTC
Salary: £70-75K + 15% pension + 10-15% bonus + healthcare + life assurance + 25 days holiday
The Client
Our client is an industry leading Property/Construction Plc organisation based in the Central London who require an IT Project Manager join an of dynamic and fast paced team. Applicants will need to have the requisite communication skills demanded by a FTSE100 company.
The Role as the Digital Project Manager
The role will support the delivery of digital technology to physical locations/buildings – managing projects from inception to completion to include network connectivity for building management systems, data environment set up & ingestion, access control, data dashboarding & analytics on building data & Sensor installation. This will require the ability to work across multiple projects and with multiple stakeholders concurrently. Successful candidates will need to be able to understand and manage the technical aspects of property-related projects, but also be a strong communicator, able to work with multiple internal stakeholders (technical and non-technical) and with external customers.
Duties;
- - Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- - Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
- - Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- - Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- - Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary, managing budget through project lifecycle
- - Determine and assess need for additional project staff and/or during project cycle.
- - Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- - Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- - Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- - Transition projects into business as usual & complete full project closure processes
Requirements
- - 4+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
- - Background experience working with Digital Data driven projects including connectivity of data sources, set up and management of AWS environments, data visualisation
- - Expose to extraction and ingestion of data from building controls into data environments ready for analysis / dashboarding
- - Delivery of digital application projects for end users
- - Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Service Now
- - Competent and proficient experience of technology projects including, but not limited to, set up and installation of inbuilding technologies
- - Experience dealing with 3rd parties and in-house teams to delivery technology solution
- - Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition preferred
- - Experience in running RFI / RFP’s
- - Business Analysis skills and/or previous experience as a BA
- - Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- - Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
- - Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- - Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
- - Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- - Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- - Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
