Duration: 6-12 months+
Salary: £65-70K + 15% pension + 10-15% bonus + healthcare + life assurance + 25 days holiday (pro rata)
The Client
Our FTSE100 client is an International Plc based in Central London who require a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join a thriving and award winning team. Applicants will need to have the requisite communication skills required by a FTSE100 company.
The Role as Senior Cyber Security Analyst
The role of the senior cyber security analyst is to protect information, systems and infrastructure. The candidate will research, support and operate relevant tools to analyse security risks and support projects to ensure security processes are followed and implemented.
Duties include;
- - Monitoring of computer networks and systems for security issues, attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
- - Supply-chain security - assessing third-party security posture
- - Perform tests and uncover network and application vulnerabilities
- - Complete security risk assessments on software and hardware as required
- - Supporting Technology projects with security analysis on any proposed solutions & ensuring any risks are highlighted and addressed as part of the project
The Lead Security Analyst Candidate
The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently.
In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- - Experience within a large Plc/blue-chip environment as a security analyst
- - Deep technical understanding of network security (protocols), application security and cryptography
- - Experience of transforming existing IT processes to align with security industry best practice
- - Experience of performing security auditing and testing
- - Experience of implementation of security standards for development
- - Experience of implementation of cloud-based security monitoring tools
- - Ability to manage project change ensuring the deliverables still align to the objectives
- - Experience of managing third party suppliers and ensuring they are a part of the project journey
- - Experience of BCP/DR planning
- - Microsoft EMS products and solutions
Good understanding of or working experience of implementing:
- - Cloud security (CASB)
- - Identity and access management solutions (IAM)
- - Privileged access management solutions (PAM)
- - Security Incident & Event Monitoring (SIEM)
- - SOC team experience
- Standards experience (e.g. ISO27001, PCI DSS, COBIT)
