Rate: £60-70K + 15% pension + 10-15% bonus + healthcare + life assurance + 25 days holiday (pro rata)
The Client
Our client is an award winning & thriving International Plc based in Central London who require a dynamic Security Business Analyst to work on a portfolio of security works projects. Based in their prestigious HQ this exciting opportunity requires candidates from a Plc/Blue-chip background.
The Role as Cyber Security Business Analyst
The client is seeking a Cyber Security Business Analyst to be responsible for capturing requirements for programme of security works which are planned for next financial year (April onwards). This will include updating Group Information Security Policies; Roll out of Security tools to the IT infrastructure environment; implementation of Security standards for development, On boarding and Off boarding of users and systems; Implementation of Cloud Based Security monitoring tools; etc.
Duties include;
- - Conduct requirements elicitation and prioritisation with business stakeholders and the delivery team including functional, non-functional and technical requirements
- - Strong analytical skills, ability to understand problem domain and express complexity in clear terms to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- - The ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional design either using UML (UseCases, Activity/State Diagrams, Process Mapping, Work Shops)
- - Create and manage requirements documentation
- - Support solution approach design, identify key design issues and develop options and recommendations to resolve.
- - Create and manage functional specification together with creative, user experience and technical stakeholders
- - Support the project manager during project planning and delivery, including estimation, risk management, briefing of technical and quality assurance teams, issue resolution, client status updates and testing
The Security Business Analyst Candidate
The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must have BA Gravitas and be able to demonstrate the following:
- - 5+ years as a Business Analyst within a large Plc/blue-chip environment
- - Security Works experience from an IT perspective – especially around system implementation/integration
- - Strong knowledge of Group Information Security Policies
- - Experience of Roll out of Security tools to IT infrastructure
- - Experience of implementation of Security standards for development
- - Experience of On boarding and Off boarding of users and systems
- - Experience of Implementation of Cloud Based Security monitoring tools
- - Experience Implementation of GDPR
